Diet and Lifestyle Recommendations
Don’t risk your health by taking a low-quality vitamin or supplement. This blog explains how Theralogix uses evidence-based formulations and third party testing, to ensure they offer consumers high-quality nutritional supplements.

At Theralogix, our goal is to provide you with the highest quality nutritional supplements that you and your healthcare provider can trust. In this blog, we explain what makes Theralogix different, and the many steps that we take to produce evidence-based, independently tested, and certified high-quality nutritional supplements.

Medical Advisory Board Oversight

The formulation of every Theralogix product has been approved by our Medical Advisory Board (MAB) after a detailed review of the scientific research.  Our MAB is a multi-disciplinary group of physicians, scientists, and faculty members from leading U.S. medical schools.

The MAB meets regularly with our Chief Science Officer, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Registered Dietitians to conduct extensive reviews of scientific research and to offer guidance on improving existing formulations and developing new products.

Evidence-Based Formulations

When developing a high-quality supplement, Theralogix begins with an in-depth review of the relevant and current published research.  Each nutrient is carefully chosen based on the research.  Theralogix will never sell a product that is not backed by substantial scientific evidence.

High-Quality Ingredients

Theralogix works to consistently source high-quality ingredients for our products. Theralogix actively participates in the selection of raw materials to be sourced, either because there is research indicating an advantage with a specific raw material ingredient in quality, performance (bioavailability or other performance measures), or because a specific material was used in supporting clinical research.

All raw materials must meet the sourcing and testing requirements of the NSF® International Certification program.  Theralogix will not source any ingredient that cannot be tested, identified, or isn’t standardized. Theralogix discloses specifics of all suppliers of key raw materials on product labels whenever possible.

Current Good Manufacturing Practices

The highest-quality, NSF® certified, U.S.-based manufacturing facilities produce Theralogix products under conditions that exceed the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards set forth by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

cGMP refers to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by the FDA. cGMPs assure that manufacturers follow the proper design, monitoring, and regulations when producing dietary supplements. Adherence to the cGMP regulations is mandatory and confirms the identity, strength, quality, and purity of nutritional supplements.

Independent Testing and Certification

We believe you have a right to know  exactly what is in any  supplement you choose to take. To achieve that goal, , Theralogix works closely with NSF® International.  a not-for-profit organization that is the world leader in standards development, product certification, education, and risk management for public health and safety.

NSF International certification guarantees that the product contains exactly what is stated on its label, that there are no contaminants or other ingredients that are not listed on the label, and that cGMPs established by the FDA have been met during the production of the product. NSF certification also guarantees that every ingredient was manufactured in an NSF certified manufacturing facility.

Since our founding in 2002, every eligible Theralogix product is tested and certified through the NSF International Dietary Supplement Certification Program.

In addition to certification and testing by NSF International, Theralogix also voluntarily submits its products that contain fish oil for further testing.  The International Fish Oil Standards (IFOS) tests for contaminants and heavy metals such as mercury, lead, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).  The fish oil used in our products is also certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)

Transparent Labeling

Theralogix follows a clean label policy. All products are free of artificial dyes, gluten-free, and contain no proprietary blends or undisclosed ingredients.  We strive to reduce or eliminate excipients as much as possible within our production process. Theralogix bottles are made with recyclable materials.

Clinical Trial Participation

Theralogix products have been used in over a dozen clinical trials conducted by universities and research institutions across the United States. Several of these clinical trials have been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), one of the world’s foremost medical research centers.

Our products have been chosen for use in clinical trials because of their evidence-based formulations,  high-quality ingredients and verified content-accuracy.  We are truly honored to be trusted by so many of the country’s leading research institutions.
